There is no single timeline because it depends on your current
playing and how consistently you practise. The important difference
is that you will start improvising from the beginning rather than
waiting until you have memorised every scale, mode or theory concept.
The course then develops those skills progressively.
No advanced theory is required. Theory is introduced when it becomes
useful to your playing, such as understanding chord tones, arpeggios,
harmony and modes. The goal is to help you hear and use these ideas,
not simply memorise terminology.
Yes. The course begins with practical minor pentatonic improvisation,
root notes, simple phrasing and call-and-response before gradually
moving into chord tones, fretboard connection, modes and more advanced
harmonic ideas.
That is exactly where many players get stuck. Knowing a shape is very
different from knowing how to create a musical solo with it. You will
work on phrasing, rhythm, targeting harmony, moving between positions,
developing ideas and turning familiar scale shapes into actual music.
No. You can begin with a familiar pentatonic position and develop your
phrasing first. Later in the course you will learn how the five
pentatonic shapes connect across the neck and how to use them
musically rather than simply memorising five separate diagrams.

harmonic contexts so you learn how the ideas actually sound and feel
