This page explains our refund policies for all Play Like A Pro products and services.


1. eBooks

Products: 10-Day Fretboard Freedom, Music Theory eBook, and future eBooks.

  • If you purchase an eBook and find that it isn’t the right fit for your current level or learning goals, you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.

  • Refunds are intended for customers who have made a genuine attempt to use the material. We trust you to give it an honest effort.

  • Duplicate or accidental purchases are handled on a case-by-case basis; please contact us for resolution.

  • Once a refund is processed, access to the eBook and any downloadable materials will be revoked.

2. Mini Courses

We stand behind the quality of our mini courses and want you to feel confident in your progress.

If you complete the core lessons of your program and still feel you have been unable to achieve the intended learning outcomes or make meaningful progress toward the goals of the course, you may be eligible for a free 1-to-1 support lesson with Jamie Ellis.

The purpose of this lesson is to help clarify concepts, answer questions, and ensure you are able to apply what you have learned effectively.

If, after this support lesson, you still feel unable to make progress toward the intended outcomes of the program, you may request a full refund.

Refunds are intended for customers who have made a genuine effort to follow and implement the course material.

Refund Window

Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of purchase.

After 30 days, all purchases are considered final and are no longer eligible for refunds, support-based refund requests, or satisfaction guarantee claims.

This policy exists to ensure sufficient time to work through the course material while maintaining fairness for all customers.

Once a refund is processed, course access will be revoked.

3. Play Like A Pro Subscription (PLAP)

Products: Monthly or annual PLAP memberships

  • Refunds are intended for members who have engaged with the program in good faith.

4. 1-on-1 Online Lessons

  • Payments for personalized online lessons are final and non-refundable due to the one-to-one nature and scheduling commitments.

  • If you need to reschedule a lesson, please email [email protected] in advance. We will do our best to accommodate, but lessons missed without prior notice may not be rescheduled.


5. Important Notes

  • One Refund Per Customer: Each refund policy applies to your first purchase of the product. Repeat purchases are not eligible.

  • Duplicate or Accidental Purchases: If you purchase the same product twice by mistake, email us and we will resolve it promptly.
